Ordinary to Extraordinary
Matthew 18:18-20 “Ordinary to Extraordinary”
This week, we begin a six-week journey into “Extraordinary” The series starts with Jesus’ extraordinary presence with us in all things, especially when we gather in His name. Jesus taught his disciples about dealing with ordinary circumstances, such as conflict, and in doing so, Jesus promised that he would be with them. This is a promise that the disciples could claim, and we can claim as well. Jesus is “Emmanuel”, “God with Us.”
How have you experienced Jesus’ presence with you?
I feel His presence with me as I begin a new chapter of ministry with you at First United Methodist of Gadsden. I feel Jesus’ presence in your warm welcome and kindness. His presence has been revealed in the foundation which has been laid by Rev. Sam and Rev. Andy. These are just some of the many ways that I have experienced Jesus’ extraordinary presence with me during this season. I hope you feel Jesus’ presence with you in this time of transition too!
Blessings,
Rev. Sherri
