And they devoted themselves to the Apostle's teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer.

A Study of the Book of Revelation, Pastor Sam Hayes
Wednesday, 11 am, Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Wednesday, 6 pm, Wonderful Wednesday

Wednesdays, beginning August 14 at 11 am, in room 108. You are invited to join us as we study the Book of Revelation!  This will be a 22 week study that will begin on Wednesday, August 14.  The class will be offered at 11:00 am in 108, and then again at 6:00 pm in the Martin Fellowship classroom.  In addition to the Bible, we will be using N.T. Wright’s book, Revelation: 22 Studies for Individuals and Groups.  These books are available in the church office for $9.  (N.T. Wright is research professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.)
Sometimes people are afraid to study the Book of Revelation, but they shouldn’t be!  To quote the back cover of N.T. Wright’s book, The Book of Revelation “offers one of the clearest and sharpest visions of God’s ultimate purpose for the whole creation.  Here we see how the powerful forces of evil can and are being overthrown through the victory of Jesus the Messiah and the consequent costly victory of his followers.”  Join us as we study this exciting, hope-filled book!

Making Room for Neighbors, Harriet Murray
Wednesdays, 6 PM

Life in America is fast approaching warp speed; there's so much to do and so little time! Families barely get to see one another--even dinner is often simply a matter of grabbing some food and eating on the run. Instead of us managing our lives, life seems to manage us.
Randy Frazee, Senior Minister at Oak Hills Church, and Max Lucado believe that it's time to change all that. MAKING ROOM FOR NEIGHBORS, based on a successful pilot outreach program at Oak Hills Church, is a five part series designed to help Christians get back to the things that really count, like the importance of sitting around the dinner table together! By mindfully engaging with family, friends and neighbors--and ourselves (Making Room to Chill)--we live more deeply, minister more effectively and help to grow the body of Christ.

Journey Groups

Life is a journey. The most important part of the journey is our relationship
with God and with others. A Journey Group is a small gathering of individuals (ideally 10-12 people) who help you grow in your loving relationship with both. We invite all people into a relationship with God and seek to create an outwardly focused community of Christ-followers. There are a variety of Journey Groups to meet your individual needs, as well as the diverse needs of the community.
